The Origins of the
Bradley Beach Chamber of Commerce
 

The history of the Chamber is short.  Kathy Kelly was hired by Vincent DelPonte to organize a Chamber of Commerce in June, 2004.  After meeting with all the business owners in town, meetings were set up at the Bradley Beach Inn to set up election rules, the bylaws and a nominating committee.  At a joint meeting of the Chamber and the Tourism Commission, hosted and donated by the Piancone family, Senator Coredemus attended and presented certificates to several Chamber members. Over one hundred people attended.  In November, we opened our office at 512 Main Street. On November 22, 2004 at Lucia's Ristorante, the new officers and board members were installed.  At that meeting, Kathy Kelly resigned as trustee and organizer.  December 18, the Chamber sponsored Winter Wonderland to show case all the members in Bradley Beach.  There are more than fifty members with new members being welcomed every week.
